These sessions provide a comprehensive exploration of the rehabilitation as part of the multi-disciplinary ICU team themes. Each focused symposium is chaired by a recognised expert in the field who leads a group of speakers, through a series of linked, evidence-based and internationally relevant presentations. Discussion and feedbackn time with the audience explores the issues raised, and the chair concludes with key messages and implications for practice. Focused symposiums are an ideal format for an in-depth discussion on a particular topic.
